Overcomer

Romans 5:2-5 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

We have all been there…

The trials, the obstacles, the losses, the heartaches, the setbacks, the failures, the challenges, the disappointments, the tradegedies, the problems, the hurt.
In the midst of those experiences, it is challenging to find any sort of joy or to fully trust that God will deliver us. But because of what God has done for us, we can place our hope in Him. Our faith in God rescues us and will carry us through.

When I look back on my life, I know that God has been right by my side throughout every situation I have faced. I am who I am because of what I have gone through. There have been times when I felt like I couldn’t even stand on my own two feet again or that the pain would never end or that my heart couldn’t hurt any worse. But here I am…I am broken, I am wounded, I am scarred, but I am an overcomer because I am a daughter of the King. He has carried me when I couldn’t stand and He has given me the strength to make it through. I have come this far because He has made me strong. So no matter what I face, I will rely on my faith and continue to trust in God and His plan. I can rejoice because of who He is and what He has done in my life.
God has a purpose for my life. And he has a purpose for yours.

Psalm 13:5 But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.
